And there's more ... Another idea gleaned from forum friends (thanks, Les at Ourhomefortheholidays.com). This is a large knitted piece made as a wall hanging. Having a crafty husband, he made the knitting needles from dowels and had a creative idea of how to hang it on a brick fire place. This fireplace was in the living room of our home when we bought the house, but that room has since been converted to my studio. The fireplace opening is now blocked by storage drawers and a craft shelf. I think this added a nice touch (but I should have done a little more craftermath control before taking the pictures.)
