Sea of Love

The Storm at Sea quilt pattern has always fascinated me and has been on my bucket list for some time. I thought making it into a February (Valantine) wall hanging would be nice, and I'm loving it! For quilting, I stitched in the ditch around the heart shapes and then free motion quilted our signatures in the bottom corners for additional quilting in those areas. All the fabrics are batiks.

Re-purpose t-shirt applique

This reindeer was on a shirt that got a bleach spot on it so it has reappeared as an applique on a different shirt.

I found myself doing a lot of Christmas crafting in January using my Christmas spirit to get a good head start for 2021! These are some Christmas and winter table runner/toppers I’ve been wanting to make for some time but never have a chance closer to the holidays. Why not now!
