4th of July tank top

I embellished a plain white tank top for the 4th of July. The top is too big for me, so I will either take in the side seams or make a new one for next year.

"Barn Quilt" RV-style

My most recent addition to our Bullet ... an RVer's "barn quilt". Can't wait to take it out on the road.

This arrangement of Flying Geese forming a pinwheel in the center is called Flying Dutchman.

Kathy made one, too. Hers is a Friendship Star block.

We bought plain spare tire covers, and cut vinyl shapes to form our quilt blocks, then glued the pieces to backing fabric, and then sewed it onto the tire covers.

Scissor fobs

These are some scissor fobs that I made for a couple of friends of mine. I finished them in early March. It was presented at a Sewing Club meeting. Here's a link to this particular pattern.

I've made a couple for myself and find them quite handy in my sewing kits.

Spring table runner

In late February I finished this spring table runner for our kitchen bar/counter. With impending rotator cuff surgery, I guess I just forgot to get it posted on my blog. I used a pattern from The Quilt Company, but there are many free tutorials and videos out there on how to make it using a border stripe fabric.
