I've made more greeting cards than I realized ...

Crafting with Iris

Crafting with Iris during her visit in March ...

Iris and I made this snowman banner when she was here in March. It's one I made for myself and then made one with Sonja, and Iris wanted one, too.

Mine is on the top; Iris' on the bottom.

We painted rocks ... (picture to come)

Iris enjoyed making things with the branches and vines she gathered outside and left this for me to use as a wall hanging.

She wanted to make coasters to sell as a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity but there wasn't time, so I sent her some pre-cut fabrics for Easter that she could sew together.

Machine embroidery

I use my embroidery machine on many projects which also involve sewing, quilting and cross stitch. Here are a couple of in-the-hoop projects that are completely machine embroidery (with the small exception of hand stitching the freestanding lace pieces of the hat together).

This is a Kreative Kiwi design (in the hoop 3D flower) that has two sizes which I nested together for a candle holder.

Freestanding lace hat for my wine bottle cat.

August, September October calendar hangers

Here are more of the calendar hangers which are being mailed to Sonja (owls) and Julia (cats) each month to hang on their calendars.

Machine embroidery shirts

Here is some machine embroidery I've done on t-shirts:

This one for Merwin for Valentine's Day ...

Wish I had made the lettering larger.

.

Iris and I made this shirt for Leslie for her birthday. It was Iris' idea to make one after Leslie had seen a Life is Good shirt that she wanted. We made a sample on an old white t-shirt which was a learning experience. The one for Leslie stitched out perfectly.

Quilting BOMs

Time for some catch-up on my craft postings!

Continuing with the two BOMs I'm participating in, here are the March and April blocks.
