Emelie said that Julia could use some bigger blankets for daycare naps. I found some fleece blanket kits on sale at JoAnns. This is the first one. If Emelie and Julia like it, I'll make the other two. If they would rather have flannel, I'll return the other two kits and purchase some flannel.

I first tried to do a no-sew braided edge, but it puckered too much, so I cut off the edge and did a hand stitched blanket stitch.

This is the braided edge that I ended up

cutting off.   It doesn't look too puckered

in the picture, but, believe me, it was.

Iris made these coasters while she was here. She picked fabrics from my 5" squares. She may be making more to sell at a craft table. Leslie and I think she may need some help picking "boring" fabrics that adults would like and buy. LOL

And these are ones I made for Emelie with fabrics that she picked for her living room.

These are our favorite style of coasters and so easy to make!

It was a delight to make these shirts for Sonja (who loves Peppa Pig) and Julia (who is a fan of Minnie Mouse). They look delighted, too. I also made some hair clips for Julia resembling Minnie's hair bows.
