I went to change quilts on the family room couch and discovered that I was missing one of the coordinating coasters that goes with it. It seemed easier to make a couple more than to move furniture and cushions trying to find the wayward coaster. I was able to find leftover fabric from the quilt. Another reason I love my stash!

  1. Aren't those coasters fun to make? I want to try the round ones one day

    1. Lana ~ I saw someone demonstrate that if you fold the squares corner-to-corner along the bias, when you turn them, the bias fold will curl back and look kind of like the cathedral window quilt block. I've been meaning to try it. Thanks for all your kind comments.

  2. I've made a lot of this type of coaster and really enjoy making them. It's fun to see how the various color combinations work together. I've also made the type where you fold the squares diagonally and think I like those even better. Yours are very pretty!
