These are the Christmas ornaments I made for Iris (poinsettia with candle), Sonja (penguin) and Julia (owl).

  1. They are beautiful. I have tried ccs and it drove me crazy. I need to have some one show me or go on Youtube I guess. My sister does it but we live far apart.

  2. How did you attach these to the wreaths and finish off the backs? I have some of those little wreaths in my stash so would be very interested in learning how to do this. They came out beautifully!

  3. MrsTea ~ Thank you. Here's what I did: I cut two round circles out of cardstock the size I wanted the CCS to be to kind of fill the wreath. Cut two pieces of quilt batting the same size. Cut a circle of Christmas-themed fabric for the back of the ornament larger than the first circles, and cut the CCS in a circle of that larger size. I put quilt batting between the CCS and the cardstock, made little clips around the circle of CCS fabric and used glue stick to glue it down. I did the same with the Christmas fabric. Then I glued the two circles together (I think I used hot glue for that step.) I centered the CCS where I wanted it and actually stitched it around the wood strips. I debated about using hot glue or other glue. I probably could/should have put a dab of glue at each point that the thread went through. Glad you like them. Let me know if you make some and how they turn out.
