Prayer shawl

This is a prayer shawl that I finished recently and was given to a friend who has been diagnosed with cancer. I had two skeins of this Caron Jumbo yarn (color, Country Basket). I don't know for sure if I had the same dye lot for both skeins, but I do usually check that. For some reason, the pattern of the variegation was completely different in the two skeins. I've never seen that before. I wasn't too pleased with it, but it is what it is. Curious!
