Embellish cardigan sweatshirt

I decided to add this little hummingbird to my cardigan sweatshirt. I purchased the design from EmbroideryDesigns.com (Simple Hummingbird Outline from Toy Box Collection). The sweatshirt is smooth. I'm not sure why the picture looks like it does.
