Iris' Birthday

This machine embroidery iris
was made so that Iris can
use it in a way that she
wants. She can applique it to
a sweatshirt or t-shirt, a bag,
or something else, or put a
ribbon on it and hang it
in her room ... or
anywhere.

I made this birthday card from
two machine embroidery
designs and added the lettering
with Embrilliance software.

Iris outgrew the sweatshirt
I had made her with this design.
Leslie thought she might like
another one.

Cross stitch card

This birthday card for Leslie was made from a free cross stitch
chart offered by Maria Brovko. She is a designer located in
Ukraine and has some very nice designs. I have used many of them.

Kathy's BD/key fobs

Here are the key fobs I made.
The one on the left is for me
and resembles the quilt block
tire cover I made for our
travel trailer.

I made this card for Kathy from
a picture of her motor home
and added the picture in the back window.
The key fob was made to resemble the
quilt block tire cover she made.

Easter cards

Easter cards for Leslie and Emelie's families
and one for Shirley
These machine embroidery designs are from KreativeKiwi's Easter Delight. I added the lettering with a program called Embrilliance.

Crafting with Sonja February 25 - March 1

Sonja came for a visit in February and did a lot of crafting.

A little pillow she made for a
friend who will be moving away.
She will stuff it when she gets home.

She made a dragon wall hanging
for her room using batik fabrics
for the dragon then applicaying
it to the fabric she chose at Hobby Lobby.

She wanted a pin cushion so
we fussy-cut some fabric.

This is something Sonja
wanted to make for Valentin.
She said it will be a
pillow or maybe a coaster.

She picked this fabric especially for her Mom
and made this pillow with it.

Sonja thought Julia
might like this pillow and
blanket set for Baby Fuchs.

February hears of all kinds ...

I made many hearts for the IFAQH.com project. Kathy and I took some to share at a Stitching Girls Society sewing retreat in February. I hope to add a picture of a Valentine's Day card if Leslie sends me a picture of hers.

Machine embroidery Love banner
design from Kreative Kiwi

Here's a table runner I made with
miscellaneous hearts.

I made these machine embroidery
hearts with a free design from
Kreative Kiwi (Koru Heart Coaster)
and turned them into a bunting for the kitchen doorway
.

Then a couple more buntings made of
scrappy hearts for around the skylight

This is the OESD design I used to make
Valentines. I didn't get pictures of the
cards but may have some soon.

Key fob

Sonja told me about her music teacher who
is sad to have to retire because he
loves the students, but he's getting
too old to continue teaching.
She wanted to give him
something, so I made this key fob
for her to give to him.
