2022 Christmas cards and tuck-ins

These are my 2022 exchange Christmas cards. They go to a special group of my online friends. I also enclosed some IFAQH hearts.

Memorial ornament

This is a memorial ornament I made for my friend, Susan, in remembrance of her husband who died in December, 2022.

This is a machine embroidery pattern from
 Kreative Kiwi.com.

Fabric ornaments for Stitched Together friends

Here are some fabric ornaments that Kathy and I made for our Stitched Together friends. (2022)

Afghan knitting

I made these two afghans for myself to replace some older ones.  I used Premier Puzzle yarn for both of these. The teal one was Color #1050-18 (Dominos).  I don't know what the blue color is called. I used one of my favorite ripple patterns.

Felt kit ornaments

Emelie likes felt ornaments and Matthias likes red and white for Christmas decorations. This Bucilla Nordic Christmas kit seemed perfect to make for them. (Christmas 2022)

Pillowcases for Valentin

2023 will be the year for Valentin to receive his monthly pillowcases from Mimi. I finished the January and February ones in December and gifted the January pillowcase for his birthday (December 26).

Embellished craft tote

I finally made time to embellish my plain black craft tote with some cute fabric. I've been meaning to do this for a long time. I backed the appliques with interfacing, then glued them on and reinforced them by stitching them down.

Christmas 2022 ~ Stocking stuffers and ornaments

Christmas 2022
For stocking stuffers, everyone got a different "poop bag" with appropriate-appearing candy.

And here are the 2022 ornaments I made for Iris, Sonja, Julia and Valentin, plus a couple for friends (1 not pictured). The machine embroidery deisgn is free from Kreative Kiwi.com. Free In the hoop Snow Globe (kreativekiwiembroidery.co.nz)

Laundry room hamper liners

I thought our laundry hamper liners were a little ragged from a cat clawing on them, so I sewed some new ones.

Placemats

I made placemats for Leslie to coordinate with the table runner I made for her birthday.

I got everyone involved in this gnome wall hanging to give to Sonja for her birthday (November, 2022). Sonja participated, too. The pattern is one block of Fat Cat Patterns quilt "Gnome for the Holidays".
