Rope trivets

In April I started making rope trivets. Apparently, they are addictive. I made enough to give to several friends as well as my sisters-in-law and a several nieces. I still kept one for myself and want to do one more for myself.

Tablecloths for Emelie

Tablecloths made with Emelie for her table - one for spring/fall and one for Christmas season.

Crafting with grandchildren

Julia wanted to try cross stitching.
I set her up with an easy
blue and yellow flower.

She also picked a small fox design to stitch.

Sonja wanted a dragon on '
her sweatshirt that said
"Books are ROARsome

We made quilted hearts for the
IFAQH.com project so
that they could make them
on their own at home.

Julia wanted a pincushion
like mine, so we made one.

Julia bought a small pair of
scissors at Quilting Mayhen
but they didn't come
with a holder, so we made one.
We used a machine embroidery
design originally intended for a
hair clip.

The grandchildren love to make pillows.
Sonja decorated both sides of hers.

Here's Julia working on a pillow for Papa.

Julia made this pillow for Valentin.

Key fobs

Julia and I made machine embroidery key fobs for Papa (soccer ball) and Grandpa (Studebaker emblem).
