Scissor fobs

These are some scissor fobs that I made for a couple of friends of mine. I finished them in early March. It was presented at a Sewing Club meeting. Here's a link to this particular pattern.

I've made a couple for myself and find them quite handy in my sewing kits.

Spring table runner

In late February I finished this spring table runner for our kitchen bar/counter. With impending rotator cuff surgery, I guess I just forgot to get it posted on my blog. I used a pattern from The Quilt Company, but there are many free tutorials and videos out there on how to make it using a border stripe fabric.

Entry bench cover

We have a small bench in our (small) entry that begged slip covers. I've had plans for them for years and finally made the first one. This, of course, will be for Christmas/winter. The first one encompasses the dreaded learning curve, and it definitely was a learning experience. I should try to make others soon so I don't forget what I learned the first time.

Facemasks

Facemasks being the fashion-forward statement for 2020, I made some for Merwin and me as well as some for Leslie and Emelie's families, and one for a friend. I used online tutorials and some of my batik stash.

Mother's Day Cards

I managed to make a a few CCS motifs into Mother's Day cards for Leslie, Emelie and Shirley. I picked charts that were quick to stitch up.

Birthday card

Here's the birthday card I made for Iris. The CCS chart is from Durene Jones.

Embellished t-shirt for Iris

Iris turned 11 in April. She's such a dear, sweetheard that I thought this t-shirt fit her personality. Sonja liked it too and wants me to make one for her.💖
