My friend, Shirley, is interested in the chenille technique, so I made this potholder for her December birthday. I used three layers of fabric which worked fine.
These were my 2024 exchange cards and tuck-ins. The cards were silhouettes of fern leaves sprayed with gold and silver metallic paint. Then I ran them through the printer to say Merry Christmas. The ornament tuck-ins are machine embroidery freestanding lace stitched with metallic thread.
I made this small wall hanging with remnants from the All Aflutterwall hanging I made earlier in the year with butterflies on it. For this one I used machine embroidery hummingbirds from Embroidery Library "Hummingbird and Blooms" stitched with variegated teal thread.
